Target Audience
Career and Technical Education district personnel in the 10 north Texas counties that we serve.
Objective
The Effective Advising Framework (EAF) is a new grant project from TEA and the U.S. Department of Education that provides support to CTE coaches who are working with students who are pursuing nontraditional career paths. This project needed to be branded, so we came up with a logo design that would be tied to all artifacts related to this programing Region 11.
The logo incorporated a graduation cap, which symbolized being career-ready upon the completion of high school. It also utilized a pencil, representing basic educational supplies but also the idea of recording data on a framework. A script font that resembles cursive writing was used to convey the personal touch involved with guiding students through the important career selection process. As a secondary logo to our main ESC Region 11 logo, we used similar colors.
Evidence of Success
The ESC Region 11 EAF Team supports the most EAF planning and implementation school districts in the state of Texas as documented by grant deliverables and awarded grants.Branding has allowed for EAF presentations to be made regionally and statewide at the CTENT Fall Forum and the CTAT Summer and Winter conferences. The marketing and branding will allow for us to present to all superintendents across our 76 school districts at an upcoming TASA meeting.
